IPLogic Appoints New Board Members
Company expands Board of Directors with experienced leaders
Latham, N.Y., January 25, 2011 – IPLogic today announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors. Additionally, the company’s board has elected co-founder Kenneth Yanneck as its Chairman.
The new directors are Christopher T. Burke, Executive Director and CEO of the Northeast Association of the Blind (NABA); David Montanaro, President, Strategic Advisory Associates and Hugh Quigley, former President of DynaBil Industries.
In his role as CEO of NABA, Chris Burke is responsible for the overall management, leadership and vision for the Association and brings to IPLogic’s Board over 20 years of management experience as well as significant Board level involvement including his current roles on the Albany Parking Authority, The New York State Industries for the Disabled and as President of the Board of Directors of Senior Services of Albany.
David Montanaro has spent most of his career leading, developing and nurturing high-growth technology companies. He was a founding investor, Board member and President and CEO of USA Datanet. Prior to USA Datanet, David was an executive for NEC Corporation in numerous CEO roles spanning six different business entities over 15 years. David is currently a Board Director at Sensis Corporation in Syracuse, is an Advisory Board Member at IQMax and is a founding Member and angel investor at Seed Capital of Central New York, LLC.
Hugh Quigley is the former co-founder and President of DynaBil Industries, now a division of publicly traded Ducommun Aerostructures (NYSE – DCO). Having been recognized by the Small Business Administration as the 2005 NYS Small Business Person of the Year, Hugh brings his leadership expertise as well as significant Board level experience to IPLogic. Hugh is currently a Board member of the Rutland Plastics Technologies company, Venture Aircraft, Inc. in Los Angeles (Chair), DeltaPoint Capital Management (Outside Director), HSBC Private Equity (Operating Partner), Greene Business Alliance (Vice Chair), Columbia Greene Community College (Trustee), Columbia Greene Community Foundation (Trustee Emeritus) and is the Co-Chair for the Capital District YMCA Capital Campaign.
In 2011, IPLogic will be expanding its geographic reach into the lower Hudson Valley, New York in support of its business partner expansion plans. The company currently maintains offices throughout Upstate, New York in Latham, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo; in Erie and Pittsburgh, PA; in Morgantown, WV and in Youngstown, OH.
